Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree in business communications from West Virginia University and a Master of Business Administration from Waynesburg University. He built his reputation by paying attention to detail and pointing people in the right direction to get the job finished safely and effectively. He is involved with human resources, insurance, purchasing, IT, large equipment issues and repairs, financial planning, and working with employees.
Prior to being an officer of the MCI Group, Ryan started as a laborer during college on a dirt and paving crew. After obtaining his first degree, he became a supervisor for the paving operations and small dirt crews. The three-plus years he spent as a job supervisor gave him the knowledge to move into the office and become the human resources purchasing director while earning his MBA.
Ryan is an active member of the West Virginia Coal Association (WVCA) and the Association of Builders and Contractors (ABC). He is also proficient with ISNetworld and PICS. Ryan is also an officer of Gulfstream West Investments (GWI), Inc.
