Amy has worked at Preston Contractors since June 2007. She performs various accounting and bookkeeping duties for Preston Contractors, Everson Resources, and Kittanning Contractors, according to established policies and procedures.

Her responsibilities as the Preston Contractors accountant include:

  • Compiling, processing, and maintaining vendor and customer records
  • Analyzing, coding, and processing invoices for payment
  • Reconciling vendor statements, researching and resolving invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Researching, coding, and processing cash receipts
  • Performing account reconciliations and producing monthly reports
  • Preparing and inputting journal entries into the general ledger
  • Completing credit applications and credit references
  • Analyzing and reviewing credit card and bank statements
  • Filing sales tax returns, federal withholding, and state withholding payments
